Back to School Dates to Know
- Aug. 28 – 7-8 a.m. Coffee with the Principal in the W.F. West Library
- Aug. 31 – 5:45-8 p.m. Back to School Open House for all W.F. West students and families
- Sept. 1 – Deadline to turn in Strive for 5 Summer Reading Challenge forms at THIS LINK. All participants will receive a prize.
- Sept. 1 – First Day of School for Grades 3-12
- Sept. 2 – Regular schedule day, Not Early Release Wednesday
- Sept. 4-7 – No School for Labor Day Weekend
- Sept. 9 – First Early Release Wednesday of 2026-2027
- Sept. 15 – Freshman Pictures & Picture Retake Day
- Aug. 27 – 3-6 p.m. Back to School Open House for all CMS students and families

Returning Students: It’s Back to School Forms Time!
Please Make Sure You Renew Your Information Through Skyward Family Access
If your family lives in the Chehalis School District boundaries and your student will be returning to Chehalis Schools for the 2026-2027 school year, there is no need to re-enroll them, even if they are moving to a new building in our district. We do ask that all returning families fill out our back to school forms before the beginning of each new school year by logging on to your parent login on the web version of Skyward Family Access.
