Free and Reduced Price Meals
Eligibility for free and reduced lunch is based on family income. Eligibility is not based on immigration or citizenship status. Please make sure you read the “Letter to Families” which explains income requirements. If your family is eligible for free or reduced lunch, we encourage you to fill out the paperwork, even if your student attends a school where meals are provided for free because the forms can also qualify you for other assistance. Before filling out forms, check with your student’s school office or the Chehalis School District Office (360) 807-7200 to see if an application already exists for your family for the 2024-2025 school year. Households may apply for benefits at any time during the school year.
Under HB 1660, students who qualify for free or reduced lunch are eligible for assistance if they are unable to pay the fees to attend or participate in any optional noncredit extracurricular district event which is of a cultural, social, recreational, or athletic nature. West High School). CLICK HERE for the Request for Refund Form

The request for meal modifications must include:
Requests for meal modification must be signed by a State-recognized medical authority, a licensed health care professional authorized to write medical prescriptions in Washington, and should be submitted to your respective school building/nurse:
