What makes Chehalis School District stand out for our employees?

  • Student Achievement Goals: A K-12 commitment to Student Achievement goals for career and college readiness. We are working to ensure that, by the high school graduating Class of 2035, 75% of all W.F. West High School graduates will earn the credentials they need to be responsible, contributing citizens.
  • Innovative Programs: The district offers unique initiatives like:
    • The VISIONS program, which provides vocational training and life skills education for students with disabilities aged 18 to 22, preparing them for independence in adulthood.
    • A strong CTE program with industry and community involvement.
  • Early Education Focus: Through the Cornerstone Program, the district supports parents and young children, with resources to better prepare for early education, aiming to increase early skills proficiency and facilitate smooth transitions into the school environment.
  • Community Engagement and Partnerships: The district fosters a strong collaboration with the Chehalis Foundation, alongside engaged community members, supportive school board members, and dedicated volunteers who devote their time and resources to enhancing our students’ education and school programs.
  • Proud hometown Alumni who return to live, work, and invest in the next generation.
