Dear W.F. West students and families,

As we close out the 2025-2026 school year, I want to share my heartfelt gratitude and bid you a warm farewell. As you know, my term as principal concludes on July 1. It has been a privilege to serve this community. This transition brings mixed emotions—pride in what we've accomplished together and excitement for the bright future ahead.

Thank you for welcoming me into the Bearcat family. From day one, your unwavering commitment to community, strong values and school spirit has inspired me daily. Getting to know you and the beautiful city of Chehalis has been a joy and I will cherish the friendships I have made here.

I leave with complete confidence knowing this school is in exceptional hands. Assistant principals Donnie Bunker, Tommy Elder and Christine Voelker are an outstanding team whose unwavering support for our district’s mission and love for our students are truly unmatched. Working alongside them has been an honor, and I know they will continue to champion your students every single day.

I also hope you've had the opportunity to meet Principal Craig Curry during some of his recent visits to campus. Craig brings tremendous energy and vision to this role and he is genuinely excited to begin this journey with you. He is ready to build on W.F. West’s strong foundation and I hope the Bearcat community will welcome him with open arms.

Thank you for everything. It has been an honor to serve as your principal.
