ParentSquare is the primary form of communication for our district. You can receive ParentSquare Messages by email, text or app notification with more than 120 languages to choose from.
ParentSquare also offers 2-way translation, so you can message a staff member through ParentSquare in your preferred language and they will receive the message translated into their preferred language.

Skyward Family Access is the platform we use to manage student and family information. Some of the areas you can view in Skyward include, your student’s current grade and missing assignments, absences and progress toward graduation.
If you are having trouble logging in to Skyward Family Access, contact Janis Dobyns at THIS EMAIL.
Skyward Family Access does not offer its own translation but here is how you can translate Skyward once you have logged in:
- Using Chrome from a home computer
- Open Skyward Family Access
- Right click on the page and choose “Translate to English” this will open a translation box at the top of the page
- Click on the three dots next to the word English to choose another language
- On Your Smartphone
- Most cell phones have built-in translation or language settings under “Settings”. Check with your phone carrier for more information about how to find this on your phone
- Using Chrome from a home computer

If you need in-person assistance at one of our offices, when possible, please:
- Give us advance notice that you are coming in and you need translation assistance
- Call the school office – 807-7235 (W.F. West, grades 9-12), 807-7230 (Chehalis Middle School, grades 6-8), 807-7225 (Orin Smith Elementary, grades 3-5) and 807-7215 (James Lintott Elementary, grades K-2). Your call will be answered in English. Please say you don’t speak English and wait to be transferred to someone who can help you.
- Message your student’s teacher, principal or office through ParentSquare, which offers two-way translation so you may write your message in your preferred language
- All of our staff have access to translation assistance with more than 300 languages through Language Link. Common languages such as Spanish, French, Russian, Punjabi and Vietnamese have translators available instantly, however, some less common languages require 72 hours notice for a translator to be available.
- Give us advance notice that you are coming in and you need translation assistance

Any changes to bus routes or schedules will be announced through ParentSquare.
The Centralia-Chehalis Transportation Co-Op also uses the My Ride K-12 App to share information with families of bus riders.
