It's an exciting time for Chehalis School District. The new Orin C. Smith Elementary School welcomed students back to school this fall. A special grand opening celebration and ribbon cutting was held August 28, 2019.
In 1995, Olympic Elementary students buried a time capsule filled with items from that year. As students and staff prepared to transition to the new Orin C. Smith Elementary, the time capsule was unearthed and reopened.
