The Cornerstone Kindercamp was a resounding success.

Forty bright and energetic incoming Kindergarteners gathered at Lintott Elementary last week for Kindercamp, a joyful and educational event designed to help them stretch their bodies, sharpen their minds, and ease into the school experience. Organized by Cornerstone, this free summer event focused on developing both fine and gross motor skills through playful, hands-on activities like drawing, jumping, catching, running, and more.

With the help of dedicated volunteers—including several members of the high school JV basketball team—the kids received lots of individual attention, encouragement, and high-fives as they explored each activity station. It was a fun-filled day full of smiles, laughter, and growth, laying the foundation for what promises to be a successful start to school for the Class of 2038!

The success of Kindercamp wouldn’t have been possible without the thoughtful planning and passion of Cornerstone staff members DeeDee Judd, Cecilia Jimenez, and Jacey Hinkle. These three were the driving force behind the scenes, designing an experience that was as welcoming as it was impactful.
And the fun isn’t over yet!

Mark your calendars for Saturday, August 9th from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. for our next big event: Kindercarnival! This carnival-themed celebration will feature games, activities, and fun surprises for both incoming and outgoing Kindergarteners. It's another great opportunity for families to connect, kids to play and prepare, and the community to cheer on our youngest learners.
We can’t wait to see you there! 🎪🍿🎉
