Some Cold & Flu Season Info from the Nurse's Office

Posted Date: 2/20/25 (:00 AM)

Chehalis School District Families,

Our Nurse Health Services staff report that we have a high number of people sick in our buildings right now. Here is some information we would like you to remember if your student is feeling under the weather:

  • If your child has a fever today, they should not be at school tomorrow. If they require Tylenol or Motrin for a fever today, they should also stay home tomorrow.

  • If you need to give your child Tylenol or Motrin in the morning prior to school to “Get them through the day,” they should not go to school.

  • If your child has vomiting and/or diarrhea today, they should not be at school tomorrow.

Please do not send your sick child to school. Flu season is rampant right now. Thank you for your help keeping our buildings safe!
