Chehalis Middle School Families,

We are so excited to have all of our students back to school!
There are several pieces of information that you will need in preparation for the start of the
school year:

Students will be receiving their handbook the first week of school. It is a requirement that the
student signs they received a handbook. Please review the handbook with your student.
Handbooks are also available online. Please note: A student signature acknowledging receipt
of a handbook will be a requirement to participate in any extracurricular activities.

School will start at 7:50am and dismiss at 2:20pm. Students will be allowed in the building as
early as 7:20.

This year, we will be processing returning student information a little differently. In preparation
for this, we wanted to be sure all families have Skyward set up. If you need help setting up an
account or resetting your password, please visit our school Skyward link:
If you have tried this and do not have an email address in our system please contact the school
office to get set up. Note: the CMS office will reopen August 25th.

Schedules will not be released until returning student information has been updated!
Skyward will re-open approximately two weeks before school starts. You will need to log on and
complete returning student renewal of information before you or your student will be able to view
their 2022-2023 school schedule.

Review this short video to see how quick and easy it is to get your student ready for next year!

Returning out of district students will not be able to fill out renewal of information until Choice
paperwork is turned in. In addition, choice students will not have their schedule released until
