W.F. West High School students were fortunate to have an outstanding speaker share information about career pathways in the field of Forensic Science and Crime Scene Investigation as part of this month’s Career Spotlight event. Nearly 80 students attended and were able to learn more about this profession, the educational requirements, as well as highlights into this career.

A huge thank you to Lyndsey Knoy, speaker and forensic scientist, who came up from the Vancouver, Washington State Patrol Crime Lab Division to talk to W.F. West High School students.

Career and college preparation activities such as this are part of the Student Achievement Initiative with a Career and College Readiness focus. Chehalis School District’s goal is to prepare graduates to succeed in a meaningful career and/or college degree post-graduation. Aware, eligible and prepared = ready.
