Lewis County students can access Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library. Through the collaborative efforts of the United Way of Lewis County and the local Rotary Clubs, families can sign children ages 0-5 years old up to receive a free book every month! Imagination Library books are specially selected age-appropriate, high quality books. Each one is personalized with the child’s name and mailed directly to the child’s home. The first book a child receives is “The Little Engine That Could.” The month a child turns 5 years old, he/she will receive “Look Out Kindergarten, Here I come!” View the book list.
The cost of mailing books to one child is $25 a year. If you are interested in sponsoring a child, you can do so online through the United Way of Lewis County website.
