We treat social skills and collaboration as essential components of education.

  1. Relational Practices: OSE is a great place to be.  Our CharacterStrong Curriculum helps us create an environment where kids WANT to be. We also use Morning Meetings and Community Building Circles to create a positive culture.
  2. Proactive Practices: We teach, practice and positively reinforce the habits students need to have academic, social and physical safety on campus. Check out our MTSS program here.
  3. Restorative Practices: Conflict and discipline are opportunities for learning. Students are given voice, the chance to reflect and to make things right with peers.
