The new James W. Lintott Elementary School serving grades pre-K through two is moving forward on schedule. This school is scheduled to be completed by the end of the 2017-18 school year.
The Chehalis Foundation asked a few W.F. West seniors and science teachers to share their thoughts and experiences having worked with the STEM programs and equipment made available by the Chehalis Foundation. In their words, you will hear the impact that the Beyond K-12 Student Achievement Initiative has made.
This summer more than 60 high school age scientists, mathematicians, engineers and programmers gained hands on skills at the Drone Zone Summer STEM Academy. The camp included a visit to Centralia College to work in college science labs.
