Chehalis Middle School families,

It has been so good to be back in person this year, thank you for working with us through all the transitions.

Next year, we will be processing returning student information a little differently. In preparation of this, we wanted to be sure all families have Skyward set up. Now is a good time to verify your account is working. You can review your student’s grades and attendance information for this year, and make sure you are set up for next year. Skyward will be closed for the middle of summer while we do some maintenance (July 15th to Aug 24th). If you need to reset your Skyward password, please visit our school Skyward login and select the password reset link:

https://www2.crdc.wa-k12.net/scripts/cgiip.exe/WService=wchehals71/fwemnu01.w

If you have tried this and do not have an email address in our system please contact the school office to get set up. Note: the CMS office will be closed June 23rd and will reopen August 25th.

SCHEDULES:

Schedules will not be released until returning student information has been updated!

Skyward will re-open approximately two weeks before school starts. You will need to log on and complete returning student renewal of information before you or your student will be able to view their 2022-23 school schedule.

Review this short video to see how quick and easy it is to get your student ready for next year!

ALL 7th and 8th grade students are required to have a TDaP booster administered on or after age 10 or a valid exemption on file with the school. All students must be in compliance with all required vaccines before the first day of school. Students not in compliance on the first day of school will not be allowed to attend classes. Medically verified immunization records are required.

CMS MEALS:

Free meals for all students ends at the conclusion of this (21-22) school year; next year students will either need to be a part of the Free and Reduced Meals program or pay for their meals.

If your family has previously qualified for the Free and Reduced Price Meals program, you will need to reapply each school year. Applications are available on the district website, at the CMS office, or the District Office starting mid July. Students will be responsible for meal costs until Free/Reduced applications are processed and approved. All CMS students have an electronic food service account and will use a PIN number.  This PIN number and account will be theirs throughout their time with Chehalis School District.  Parents/Guardians may deposit any amount of money into their student’s account for meal purchases.

LIBRARY BOOKS:

Any library books that were not returned at the end of the school year will be listed as a fine on your student’s account. Your student may see what books he/she has out through the Destiny/Follett link on HelloId. After clicking the link, click Chehalis Middle School, then Log in (upper right hand corner), then Sign on through Google.
