The staff and students at W.F West High School pride ourselves in being a part of a great academic tradition. This staff and student body continue to be recognized each year for outstanding individual and group accomplishments. Each year students are recognized as Washington Scholars, National Merit commended scholars, semi-finalists, and finalists.
Our music program in band, choral, and orchestra is one of the largest in the state. Our students have opportunities for local and state competitions and parades as well as national and international tours.
Our Advanced program in History, English, Math, and Science is open to all students who commit to hard work, diligence, and exceptional intellectual challenge.
District and League titles and many District and State opportunities give our athletes the recognition they deserve for the time and effort they spend in our competitive athletic programs. Our Knowledge Bowl, Forensics, and Drama program consistently deliver outstanding programs.
This high school has one of the most generous scholarship programs in the state. The W.F West Foundation, the Coffman Foundation, and the Chehalis Dollars for Scholars gave over $700,000 in scholarships.
The staff of W.F West High School has high expectations for ALL students. We know that our students are capable of performing at high levels, and we will provide them with the support to reach these expectations.
